About me

I am a fully qualified, registered and accredited psychodynamic psychotherapist experienced in working with a wide range of presenting issues. Alongside providing a space to support you as you navigate life’s challenges, I am a fully trained and registered Barnardo’s LINK Adoption Counsellor, working with all areas of adoption including birth parents.

I am an ICT trained couples/relationship therapist, working with those who wish to improve a partner, parental, sibling, parent/child or family relationship.

I am a specifically trained rape and sexual abuse counsellor. Taking a courageous step towards change can be a scary proposition. Counselling support is about exploring and making sense of challenges that you may be experiencing as a direct result of a present situation which may or may not be influenced by something that has happened in your past.

Psychodynamic therapy works by exploring how your personality, together with your life experiences, influence your thoughts, feelings, behaviours and relationships. This will enhance your understanding of yourself and so promote the capacity for change.

I offer open-ended long-term therapy, short term brief dynamic interventions, attachment/relational therapy.
